The Bionic A15 improves on Apple’s new “cheap” phone, but the design, screen, and cameras don’t.

OUR Mosillion analyzed the rise in the cost of smartphones over the past decade and published some forecasts for device prices over the next ten years. Among the big brands iphone gives Apple it was a smartphone the biggest price increase in the forecast. This is where we can see 30,000 reais in the future.

The price of high-end iPhones has gone from $199 in 2012 to $1,099 with the current iPhone 13 Pro Max. Even with the conversion, the value of the iPhone 5 that we would receive today would be more than its original price, since the dollar exchange rate at that time did not yet exceed 3 reais.

The second and third places in this list are occupied by Motorola and Huawei. High-end Chinese phones can sell for over $3,300 in 2032 (about R$17,000), while American-made phones are slightly more expensive and can cost over $3,333.

It is worth noting that the current situation with Huawei is largely due to the blockages that it has faced due to problems with the US government. Previously, the company had smartphones 30% cheaper than competing devices.

Canada is another country that has banned China's Huawei and ZTE from accessing its 5G network.

While these predictions may work for now, they cannot be considered definitive. A general increase in prices, including in other market segments, and a lack of resources around the world could increase these numbers in less time than we expect. In addition, buying a smartphone outside the manufacturer’s country also incurs fees and taxes, which can make things even more frustrating.
