When the device is idle, the sound coming from one port can also be heard from the other two ports. When the system is activated, air flows into the room at a certain speed. This airflow also affects the sound coming out of a port. only 1 This allows it to be listened to from another port.
Unwanted sounds can be blocked

Sound waves under normal conditions in more than one direction they move. Voice communication continues even if the transmitter and receiver change places. With this system the sound is moved in one direction. This also prevents unwanted noises. Although similar systems have been developed before, the new device prevents the quality and intensity of the sound from decreasing.
ETH Zurich teamtook a different approach to ensure that sound waves travel without losing power. The air entering the disk is brought to the same frequency as the sound wave. In this way, sound waves, instead of losing their power, are transmitted even more powerfully. It is claimed that this device can send electromagnetic waves in addition to sound waves.
