OUR European Space Agency, ESApresented this Monday (13), version #3 of the data from Mission Gaia. This mission aims to produce the most accurate and complete multi-dimensional map of the Milky Way as described by the Agency, and a new data update brings news of what is known about the galaxy.

According to the announcement of ESAnew released catalog provides new information about “the chemical composition, temperature of stars, colors, masses, ages, and the rate at which stars approach or recede from us.”. Innovations were achieved through three methods of observation Gaia Space Observatory which: astrometry, photometry as well as spectroscopy.

OUR ESA also shows that the data also includes the largest catalog of binary stars, solar system objects, and galaxies and quasars outside the Milky Way.
