The remains of a Welsh village called Llanwdin have not been seen since the 1970s, but CNN reported in early August that the entire village is now visible on the dry shores of Lake Wyrnwy Reservoir.

5. Infrastructure of Ancient Rome
Drought in Italy has unearthed the remains of an ancient bridge over the River Tiber, said to have been built by the Roman emperor Nero around 50 AD.
Although smaller portions of the ruins were visible in previous years, Reuters reported in June that the bridge was the most visible on record.
4. “Hungry” pebbles
