Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that Switzerland has allocated more than 500 million hryvnia for the digitization of Ukraine. According to him, this will help launch even more new services in Diya.
Ukraine and Switzerland agreed on cooperation
Fedorov noted that the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation is systematically investing in the development of digital Ukraine through the EGAP Programme.
Together we created Diya and launched dozens of services for Ukrainians – eMalyatko, COVID certificates, automatic business registration, tax payment in a few clicks and important social services,
– said the minister.
Fedorov emphasized that Diya has reached the international level. Especially Estonia, which is considered the most digitalized country in Europe, is launching its own application for public services based on Diya. In addition, dozens of countries around the world are actively involved in Action.
Ukraine and Switzerland agreed on a partnership in the field of digital transformation during the visit of Swiss President Ignatius Cassis to Kyiv.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine plans to deepen cooperation to promote recovery through digitalisation.
They also discussed possibilities to assist Switzerland in supporting digitization and restoring telecommunications systems in our country’s newly occupied territory,

- The Swiss President returned to Ukraine a year after his last visit. In Kiev, he met with the leader of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
- Zelensky said he expects Switzerland to support our steps in response to Iran’s sale of kamikaze drones to Russia. The head of government, Denys Shmyhal, stressed that the Swiss president’s visit on the backdrop of Russian attacks was a bold show of support.
- Kassis noted that the purpose of his visit was to take a picture of the military and humanitarian situation, as well as to carry out preparatory work for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
