Approaching April 28, the estimated date for the launch of the drone DJI Mini 3 Pro, and with it, drone leaks are intensifying. twitter profile Special OffersDrone has released yet another series of drone leaks with several high-resolution photos that detail what the 249g DJI model will look like, which for the first time will have obstacle sensors in three directions: front, rear and bottom. It is worth noting that sensors are traditionally placed under it, as this is crucial for safety issues during takeoff and landing.
The photographs show interesting details of the drone, but they were already known from previous leaks. The Mini 3 Pro will still weigh less than 250 grams, which is 249 grams. This weight provides fewer restrictions for flying the drone in some countries. The size and materials appear to be very similar to previous models in the Mini range, although the design has changed significantly. The propellers are still attached with screws rather than fittings like the Air 2S and Mavic 3 models.
3-way obstacle sensors for the first time on DJI Mini
As for the sensors, you can see that DJI has used the same space as the front sensors for the rear sensors, thus avoiding creating space in the sensor housing at the rear of the drone. On the underside, you can’t see the LED backlighting found on models from the segments above, such as the Air 2/2S range.
When it comes to the camera, you can see that it has a 24mm lens with an f/1.7 aperture, which guarantees a good low-light scenario, it remains to be seen what the size of the sensor is. Another piece of information that hasn’t been leaked yet is the bitrate, which is important for the final video quality.
The camera should provide important advantages over the Mini 2 and perform better in low light.
The battery will be mounted behind the drone, like other Mini models, and according to previous leaks, it could have a capacity of 2453 mAh, which could theoretically indicate a longer flight autonomy, possibly as high as 40 minutes.
Another novelty that comes with the Mini 3 is the new DJI RC controller, another model with an integrated screen, but at a lower price than the RC Pro that was released with the Mavic 3 line.
In terms of pricing, there is a leak indicating that the Mini 3 will start at $500, but these leaks suggest two models, the Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro, which in practice may not happen with the arrival. only one Mini 3 Pro model.
The leak suggests that there will even be two models in the lineup, in addition to the version with the new DJI RC controller.
Stay tuned to Connected World, we’re closely following the launch of the Mini 3 and we’ll have some news, articles and videos on DJI’s new compact drone that promises to be one of the best drones ever released in the segment. The launch could take place between April 27 and April 28, depending on which date DJI uses in China.
