Two scientists working on different species in Zonguldak’s Gökgöl Cave collected the samples from Prof. Dr. Murat Özbek, Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, Faculty of Fisheries, Dr. He shared it with faculty members İsmail Aksu and Hazel Baytaşoğlu.

As a result of the structural and molecular analyzes of these specimens belonging to the genus known as ungulates or “Gammarus”, it was determined that the creatures in question differed from the species described so far. only new species 13 millimeters long owner and lived in the dark area, one kilometer from the cave entrance.
