Meta said users will get access to two new games per month for a paid subscription.
At $7.99 per month or $59.99 for an annual subscription, Meta’s Quest+ service is compatible with Quest 2, Quest Pro, and Quest 3 headsets.
Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, posted a $4 billion loss in the VR division in the first three months of the year. Meta is also facing competition from companies including tech giant Apple, which launched its long-awaited mixed reality headset this month.
In 2021, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced plans to build a “meta universe”, an online world where people can play, work and communicate in a virtual environment, often using virtual reality headsets.
Just in February last year, Meta announced several ambitious projects based on AI, and Zuckerberg described AI as “the key to unlocking the meta universe.”
As reported by Ukrinform, Meta Platforms Inc, the company of American billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, introduced a new Quest 3 virtual reality helmet on June 1.
