Android 14 makes it easier to share items

Google is gearing up to make the new version of Android, Android 14, available to users’ devices with a number of significant changes to improve the experience. Thus, one of the main issues that the company is working on is the way to share elements in the system.

Android 14 beta 3 and 4 have greatly improved the sharing screen, the menu that appears when you tap the button to share files. Previously in Android 13, there were four options when sharing an element.

However, in Android 14 Beta 3, Google increased this number to five, which allows people to see more sharing options on the same page and prevents other users from passing by other file sharing options.

Anyway, this was not the only change introduced by Google. That’s because the Android 14 beta also tells you what action each exchange option will take. For example, if you copy a URL from a web browser and share it, the operating system will tell you that you are sharing the link and show you a preview of the link. Both enhancements make sharing faster, easier, and more convenient.

Android 14 also provides users with other options.

In addition, the new Android 14 beta comes with an improved At a Glance widget. This widget provides faster and easier access to all the important information you might want to update. In Android 14, you get swipeable cards in the Quick Overview widget even if there are multiple alerts.

Android 14 betas are currently only available for Pixel devices. If you have a Google Pixel device, you can sign up for the Android 14 beta program to test these new features. Keep in mind that your phone must be charged more than 10% so that it does not turn off during installation.

As for the release date of Android 14 for Galaxy smartphones, it is expected to happen next week. However, the update will be released as a beta version, which means that only people enrolled in the beta program will receive it.
