At the wireless level, the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro is one of the most advanced, complete and powerful solutions out there, but Cable connection options are not left behind, because it is compatible with GPON optical standards at a maximum speed of 2.5 Gbps, AON up to 1 Gbps, it supports DSL with 35b super vectoring up to 300 Mbps, and it can be used in an optical fiber modem (ONT) operating at a maximum of 2 . 5 Gbps.

As if all of the above wasn’t enough, this router integrates DECT, IP/SIP telephony and also an analog telephone connection (FXS). It is ready for integrate into a smart home without problems thanks to its compatibility with DECT ULE and Zigbee and it has a USB 3.1 port that we can use to create our personal cloud if we connect an external storage unit.
