Ukrainians have created an invisibility cloak that provides super protection against Russian thermal imaging cameras and drones with thermal imaging cameras.
As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister for the Development of Innovation, Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Facebook and posted a video of the new development.
“The cloak prevents the spread of heat and makes warriors invisible to the enemy. For example, our snipers or CCO groups performing combat missions,” he said.
According to Fedorov, the development is compact and lightweight – up to 2.5 kg, with high protection against rain and wet snow. In addition, the raincoat is fireproof and provides protection against high temperatures. “The video shows a ready-made sample that has been successfully tested in the field,” he added.

“The invisibility cloak is just one of the developments that will save the lives of our soldiers at the front. More are needed. Fedorov, if you are working on projects in the field of defense, send them through the Brave1 platform.” he emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, the ready-made experimental sample of the Ukrainian combat robot “Lyut” has successfully passed field tests.
