It is emphasized that the declaration provides a basis for ongoing dialogue between states regarding the responsible use of all artificial intelligence applications by the military.
In the US, this has been called “an important step” towards the creation of an international accountability system. At the same time, Washington expressed its intention to cooperate with other states supporting this initiative.
