Asus introduced two professional monitors of the ProArt series: ProArt Display PA32KCX And ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM. Both new products are equipped with 32-inch screens. The manufacturer claims that the ProArt Display PA32KCX is the first professional monitor to support 8K resolution and Mini LED backlighting.
The ProArt Display PA32KCX monitor is claimed to support a resolution of 7680×4320 pixels. The mini-LED backlight has 4096 local dimming zones and has a peak brightness of 1200 cd/m2.2. The monitor supports displaying HLG and HDR10 formats.
97 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and DeltaE <1 color accuracy are specified for the ProArt Display PA32KCX. The novelty has a built-in colorimeter with an electric drive and an automatic calibration function to maintain color settings at a professional level. The monitor is also claimed to have an anti-glare coating and support Eye Care+ technology that reduces eye fatigue.
The monitor is equipped with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 ports, as well as a USB hub with two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces (USB Type-C) that supports power transfer of up to 96W to an externally connected device.
The ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM monitor offers a 31.5-inch QD-OLED display with 4K resolution, 10-bit color depth support, 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 1000 cd/m peak brightness2. Each monitor unit is factory pre-calibrated to color level DeltaE <1. For the novelty, support for displaying HDR-10 and HLG formats is claimed.
The monitor is equipped with a built-in USB hub as well as Thunderbolt 4 ports that can transfer up to 96W to an external HDMI 2.1 device. Asus will showcase both monitors at NAB Show 2024 from April 14-17, where it will also showcase other new products for professional graphics, photo and video work.
