Ukraine has bought another 5,000 Starlink satellite internet stations from Elon Musk’s company.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov during a briefing on the integration of Diya with mObywatel, Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We bought 5,000 Starlinks for the needs of our country,” Fedorov said.
In general, he stressed that Ukraine with this party already has about 20,000 Starlinks.
As reported, Starlink is a project of the SpaceX company, which provides access to broadband Internet using a satellite network. The speed of this type of Internet is up to 1 Gbit/s per subscriber and you can use it anywhere in the world.
SpaceX founder Elon Musk helped provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and satellite Internet access.
