MacBook and iMac users largely complain about failures to sync the calendar built into macOS with the popular Microsoft Exchange scheduler, which is often used by office workers. This was reported by MacRumors.

It was noted that all dissatisfied users experienced the problem after updating macOS to the Ventura version released on October 24. Most often, the “Calendar” program refuses to synchronize with the Microsoft program. There are also cases where synchronization occurred, but there were errors: The dates of the scheduled events in the “Calendar” application did not correspond to the dates in Microsoft Exchange.

MacRumors believes that the problem is most likely on Apple’s side, because on MacOS of the previous generation – Monterey – sync works in normal mode. Journalists advise to refrain from upgrading to Ventura in connection with users for whom the stable operation of Microsoft Exchange is important. For those who have already updated and run into a problem, uninstalling and reinstalling the Microsoft utility might help.
