ArsTechnica reporters criticized Xiaomi’s new flagship for its resemblance to the iPhone 14 Pro. Relevant material is published on the media website.

According to the post’s author Ron Amadeo, the new Xiaomi flagship visually resembles the current Apple smartphone. Amadeo stated that the designers of the Chinese company were clearly inspired by the look of the iPhone 14 Pro. The author noted that the Xiaomi 13 has smooth edges, buttons and colors similar to those on Apple’s flagship.

“The Xiaomi 13 is more interesting than the Xiaomi 13 Pro because – hey, look, it’s an iPhone!” said the journalist. According to the expert accused of copying Xiaomi, the Chinese IT giant had previously inspired the design of the iPhone and transferred it to its devices. “Still, it amazes me that no OEM has copied Dynamic Island yet”– pointed out Amadeo.

The journalist emphasized that Xiaomi is not afraid of accusations from Apple because its smartphones will never be sold in the USA. At the same time, the flagship Xiaomi 13 series will also go on sale in Europe.
