Samsung introduced the next generation display for complex smartphones. This was reported by The Verge.
The Flex In & Out front panel prototype was launched by Samsung Display, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics. A distinctive feature of the screen is its design, which allows the screen to bend in both directions. The device has “dotted” hinges that prevent the formation of folds.
According to John Lucas, a representative of the company, hinges and custom hinges put less load on the screen. As a result, screens developed according to the new concept may appear on new generation advanced devices. Galaxy Z Fold 5 is being named as a possible device with an updated design.
Journalists noted that the Flex In&Out display is able to profitably distinguish Samsung devices from other smartphones. According to experts, screen folds are considered one of the design flaws of modern complex devices.
