The Ukrainian company Temerland introduced the unmanned robotic platform “Scorpion 2”, which can be used in the fields of mine clearance, firefighting or agriculture in the defense and civil sectors.
The Scorpion 2 robotics platform has the following functions:
“Scorpion 2” is equipped with elevators for four satellite robots. The satellites perform tracking and repeater functions to increase the communication range between the operator and the main unmanned robotic platform.
Satellite lifts are attached to the back of the platform and perform the function of lowering/raising satellites from the platform to the ground surface. Elevators are remotely controlled by a portable command control panel.
“Scorpion 2” as a base point for aircraft is an installation, a kind of base and launcher for aircraft – drones, bionic birds – SmartBird robots. After launching from a land platform, the drone performs communication, reconnaissance or attack functions.
