Russian Aeroflot has already warned users that removing apps will make it impossible to reinstall them. We can assume that very soon Apple smartphones with Aeroflot applications will appear in Russian online stores for unreasonable money, as well as with other uninstalled programs.

Why did the applications of Russian airlines disappear from digital stores?

Aeroflot, like other Russian airlines, is on the US sanctions list. The programs of “Sberbank” and other banks are also under sanctions and have already been removed from the App Store and the Android application store – Google Play.

We will remind you that due to the imposed sanctions, the Russians will almost never be able to fly anywhere, so the applications on the smartphone practically do nothing for them. Amid the devastating sanctions, Aeroflot’s passenger traffic, which includes low-cost carrier Pobeda, charter carrier Russia and Aeroflot, dropped 20.4% in March alone, and that’s just the beginning.
