According to new ComScore research, Instagram remains the most visited social network in Brazil. Meta photo and short video platform responsible for 14.44 hours per month of Braziliansdisplaying the time they devote to social media.
Even while maintaining an isolated lead when it comes to the use of the social network, Instagram, as well as other platforms that are present on the market today, suffering from a recession that worries large companies. At least that’s what the review by Dazed Estúdio defends, reproduced in Brazil by The Summer Hunter.

Without disclosing specific numbers regarding the loss of users, the data represents the “decline of social networks” that is causing concern among developers. The survey showed that one of the main reasons for this is the dissatisfaction of the younger generation with the companies responsible for operating these platforms.
A study by Dazed Estúdio shows that despite an overall increase in screen usage, the 19-25 age group is declining their social media presence. This generation is more critical of app data usage and deals with topics like mental health.
YouTube and TikTok were on the podium of the most popular applications
Taking first place in the survey of the most popular social networks in Brazil, Instagram was able to lead by some distance from others present in the Brazilian market. According to ComScore, YouTube was the second social network and TikTok was the third with 12.22 hours and 9.27 hours respectively.

Having been at the top of the rankings for several years, Facebook is nowhere near the same popularity as it has been in the past. Despite also being owned by Meta, the same company behind Instagram, it only ranks fourth with an average of 9.08 hours per month for Brazilians.
A ComScore survey shows that Kwai, a TikTok competitor, ranks among the top spots for the amount of time Brazilians spend on social media, at 7.16 hours per month. Next comes Twitter at 2.49 hours, followed by LinkedIn and Pinterest at 40 and 28 minutes, respectively.
