For example, if after some time you notice a small sticky layer around the neck, it’s time to take a closer look at the crankcase ventilation system: it gradually becomes clogged and the gases cease to be vented normally. And if you do not attach importance to this, then the oil burner will start, the dynamics will deteriorate, and the smoke from the exhaust will increase.

We admit that ventilation cleaning work is very expensive, because many parts have to be dismantled. However, if this procedure is stubbornly ignored, eliminating all these problems will hit the wallet much harder.

“Zhizhu” can and quite strongly squeeze out from under the cork. And in this case, you can get by with “a little blood” – replace the cork gasket (suitable for the Soviet Volga) and the cork itself. And if it does not help, then the engine has overpressure, and this is also fraught with a whole host of problems.

For example, with “malfunctions” in the operation of the oil pressure sensor, an incorrectly selected viscosity of the lubricant or a clogged (or fake) oil filter. But worst of all, the safety valve fails. It is often located in the oil pump and in most cases the expensive assembly must be replaced.

And if you spill and forget the contents of the canister, then the viscous substance will reach important nodes. It can get on the accessory belt (depending on the design) and it comes off the guides. Or the disc will remain, but needs to be updated sooner due to wear. Penetrate “slurry” can and candle wells. But it is aggressive to the rubber ends of high voltage wires. Yes, and the resource of candles will be reduced.

Therefore, keep the engine compartment clean. This will save you a lot of trouble, and also make it possible to determine the condition of the power unit literally by eye. If you see signs of potential problems, it’s much easier and cheaper to prevent them.
