Engineers of the Elabuga plant, which is located in the Republic of Tatarstan, already locate the Asian “steel heart”, and at the same time a six-speed manual transmission.
Recall that the Chinese produce their supercharged 2.8-liter HFC4D diesel engine under license from Isuzu. It is installed on Sunray and N25 / N35 trucks, which we know as Sollers Atlant and Argo.
If the plans come true, it will increase the localization level of Russian-Chinese commercial transport from 30 to 70% in accordance with the current rules of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Probably UAZ will also get the engine. Unfortunately, it cannot be put on the Hunter, as the car would then be too heavy. But on the “Patriot”, “Pickup” and “Profi” it is very real. Yes, and the agreement with JAC allows it.
