When commissioning the new federal highway M12 Vostok, Avtodor took into account the experience of the launch of the M11 Neva toll road, which connected Moscow and St. Petersburg. Vyacheslav Petushenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Avtodor Group of Companies, told the AvtoVzglyad portal that already at the time of the launch of the new Moscow-Kazan road, there would be no problems with refueling cars.
The filling stations on the new toll road M12 Vostok will be taken into use at the start of the work. Avtodor Group of Companies took into account the claims of the first users of the M11 Neva road, who once found a shortage of petrol stations on some sections of the highway. On the main section of the M12 (Moscow-Kazan), 14 refueling stations will become operational upon launch at the end of 2023. Next year, 10 more filling stations will open there. For example, users of the route will be provided with fuel, rest areas and mobile communication along the entire length of the highway. A more complete range of services requested by car travelers (catering, motels, etc.) will appear on M12 later.
Recall that at the moment three M12 sections with a total length of about 105 kilometers have been commissioned, including two backup sections of the M-7 Volga free highway in the Moscow region and a bypass of the city of Vladimir. It is expected that in 2023 the M12 Vostok toll road will connect Moscow and Kazan, reach Yekaterinburg in 2024 and later be extended to Vladivostok.
