Of course, the confrontation with the collective West – sorry for the “stamp”, but I can’t say more precisely – was not easy, to say the least, has not disappeared and will not disappear soon. However, in 15 months the reality “on the ground” has changed radically.

Many have left, but most remain. And if some distributors have entered a suspended animation, others will continue to work actively. Yes, they do not provide new cars, but they have more or less put things in order with spare parts and consumables. The main “headliners” are now the Chinese. They increased the supply of cars by three times, and trucks, attention, by 8 times. Eight times! The figures were given by the acting head of the Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The strength of China’s industry and its attractiveness at the moment is a tandem of speed and volume. Ready to deliver tomorrow and in the right quantity. Customize for Russia and add options? No problem. And not in the next generation, but in a month. However, the role of the other side of a mutually beneficial neighborhood should not be underestimated: the goods must be made from something, and then sold somewhere. Partners only earn by acting together. And here, as they say, win-win. What can not be said about the European economy.
