AVTOVAZ will amaze with a new family, the traffic police with terrible fines and another Lefty with a superbike: results of the week

Many new products from Chinese automakers await us in the near future, including the first electric car in the history of the Omoda brand – the C5 EV crossover. But it is much more interesting that in 2024 the domestic LADA Iskra will see the light, on which work is now in full swing. By the way, in 2024 the blue card will come into force – international insurance, an analogue of the green card. And, probably, fines from the traffic police will increase significantly. All details are in the video review of the AvtoVzglyad portal.

And let’s start with new details about the latest LADA Iskra, which is designed to replace the people’s “Grant” at the combat post: this model will have a panoramic roof. The information is unofficial – employees of the Volga Automobile Plant shared it – so there are no details. The premiere of the novelty, as already mentioned, is scheduled for 2024, and the start of sales – for 2025.

We will see the electric crossover Omoda C5 EV sooner – in the fourth quarter of 2023. What will it offer the Russians? The power plant for 225 “horses” and 450 kilometers of range, as they say, on one battery. And a little later, that is, early next year, most likely, the updated Exeed TXL crossover will come to us – it was presented in China this week.

Another extremely curious news of recent days is that the Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy has developed a unique engine that does not require oil and maintenance – all thanks to special materials that minimize the friction between the piston and cylinder. The resource of this device is twice the life of conventional motors. And the weight, size and cost are about a third lower.

And now to social events. The first is the news that the Blue Card will replace the Green Card for motorists. The new international insurance policy, which will be valid in “friendly” countries, will appear on January 1 next year. Which countries? Belarus has already been confirmed, now negotiations are underway with Turkey and Azerbaijan.

And the second significant event – a new “stuffing” in social networks says that traffic police fines may soon double at once. The anonymous authors of the publications claim that authorities are actively discussing options for harsher sentences, and sources familiar with the situation firsthand confirm this fake news at first sight.

And more about the main events in the country’s automotive life in the outgoing week – in the video review of the AvtoVzglyad portal, which you can watch Here.
