How to seriously save on buying a cheap Chinese car
The price of even the most affordable Chinese car for most potential buyers is now quite “caustic”. Smart people even now manage to significantly reduce this “biting”.

Now almost every motorist knows that the prices for the most affordable foreign cars (mainly Chinese) start from 1.8 – 1.9 million rubles. More interesting models are even more expensive. Recently, the exchange rate of the ruble has fallen sharply, and from August 1, the usage fee will increase. Which in the complex is about to lead to another price increase in the car market in the very near future. Therefore, if there is a need for a new inexpensive car now – the last moment to buy it for a more or less reasonable price. Although, if you are satisfied with the opportunity to purchase AVTOVAZ products, then you can read this material no further.

Digging through the websites of official dealers of Chinese car brands in Russia sometimes yields surprising results. For example, it turns out that the small hatchback Livan X3 Pro, with its official price of almost 1.9 million rubles, can be bought for about 1.6 million, and the large Foton Tunland diesel pickup is offered by dealers for ridiculous (currently) money – less than 1.5 million rubles. If you dig, you can find a few more similar offers.

The trick here is that in reality such prizes can only be obtained if a number of conditions are met. Which you will only be told about at the dealer. Including, for example, trading in your car, buying a new car on credit, taking out hull insurance with a certain company at a certain rate, subscribing to some paid notifications from the bank, agreeing to a (of course not free) legal service, or something similar.

That is, in the end it turns out that, taking into account all the additional payments “stacked on top”, it is unlikely that it will be possible to save money on buying a car. But practice shows that it is also possible to fight greedy merchants and bankers. To do this, we buy a car on their terms. The main thing is that the “delicious” prize, which attracted you, must be indicated in the contract.

And then the law allows you to refuse from imposed insurance, and from “additional services”, and from other nonsense. In addition, you can repay the loan early – you pay the entire amount in one go and do not lose money on interest to the bank. Remember, at the contract signing stage, it is important to carefully read the “fine print” in the papers you sign. There are sometimes many things that are dangerous for you – such as early repayment penalties on a bank loan.

But don’t let that bother you. When such enslaving paragraphs contradict the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act, you don’t even have to sue the car dealer. If his lawyers try to “pump up rights” by demanding illegal money from you, it is usually enough to send them a pre-trial claim letter and everything settles down. Because in such cases, the courts almost always side with the buyer and issue “horse” fines to the cunning seller’s organization – in favor of the “little man”.
