Nightmare of the traffic police: traffic policemen began to seriously study the brands and models of Chinese cars
For more than a year, the Russian car market has been experiencing an increasing presence of Chinese car products. If you think about it, it is not limited to just numbers in the analysis of the structure of car sales in the country. The consequences of the Chinese auto expansion could be more diverse.

So far, the growing wave of “China” in the domestic car market only leads to a change in economic realities in Russia. But besides, if more and more cars from the Middle Kingdom will appear every year, perestroika will inevitably begin in the minds of everyone associated with cars. To begin with, we recall that in the first half of 2023 alone, Chinese customs exported about 405,000 cars to Russia. This, of course, is a record of all times and nations. But it’s different.

Experts expect that we will sell a total of 900,000 to 1.1 million passenger cars this year. If Chinese exports do not slow down (and nothing seriously predicts this event), then by the end of the year a total of about 800,000 “Chinese” may come to us! In other words, they will get about 75-95% of the Russian car market. The remaining crumbs are pecked by AVTOVAZ. Cars of European, Japanese and Korean brands, which were previously imported under the “grey” schemes, will be outnumbered due to a sharp increase in salvage costs. In the coming year and beyond, the trend will apparently not change and will even intensify.

Imagine what will happen in just a few years of such a life. For example, the new premium “Germans” will become a rare exotic. And before, all sorts of “majors”, respected people and semi-criminal elements “showed off” with them.

Now this public will be forced to either “exhaust” the once famous luxury cars, or switch to the “Chinese”. And what should the traffic cops do! It used to be simple: stop a tinted Mercedes G-class or BMW X5 – you’re almost guaranteed to encounter a driver’s violation! Well what now? Go find out which is more pretentious: Hongqi or Voyah?! Or maybe Exeed? Or should we take a closer look at this hookah rapper’s penance history on an electric Zeekr?!

The brains of the military will melt! Previously, I saw the “nostrils” of the BMW brand, the “sight” on the hood of Mercedes, the well-known silhouette of the Toyota Camry or the characteristic expression of the “snout” of Kia – and everything is already clear to you: who and how to get behind the wheel. And when the “Chinese” flood Russian roads, such a trick will no longer work.

They have the same face! All of them have luminous white stripes all over the “muzzle”, the same type of headlight slots, stylized radiator grilles and other “copy-paste” of the most fashionable … Until you find the nameplate with your eyes and it reads the name of the model on the stern – you can tell from a distance two “cheap stuff” for a few million rubles, from the “Chinese premium” for 15 million. A traffic cop’s real nightmare! However, it is the best. Perhaps the military will check the purse of the arrested driver less often and try less to “breed for money.”
