Next year, the capital’s enterprise will begin production of two more models: the Moskvich 5 and Moskvich 8 crossovers, the mayor noted.

The revived factory in Pechatniki employs around 1,600 people. The site produces the Moskvich 3 crossover, the electric version Moskvich 3e and the Moskvich 6 sedan – in total, about 27,000 cars have already been assembled. Now the capital’s factory has received the status of an industrial complex – this will bring tax benefits to the company, allowing the money saved to be used for production development.
