Lexus has finalized the LS executive sedan for the 2024 model year. As with the previous restyling two years ago, the updates concerned the chassis, driving assistants and the multimedia system

Contrary to tradition, the Japanese did not touch the appearance during the update, but focused on what is hidden from view. For example, all versions except the range-topping LS 500h Executive Advanced Drive and L Advanced Drive have also added extra reinforcements in the radiator section to increase body rigidity. The suspensions received stronger silent blocks and the angle of inclination of the exhaust system support was changed to dampen vibrations. Dynamic rear steering is now available with all-wheel drive.

When refining the hardware, we haven’t forgotten the software. The electronic assistant Proactive Driving Assist can avoid collisions with cyclists and pedestrians, reduce speed in bends and at traffic lights and also correct traffic in the lane. The patented Teammate autonomous driving system has also been improved: it can now drive independently in traffic jams at speeds of up to 40 km/h and park automatically.

You can recognize the updated LS by the new 12.3-inch instrument panel. The line of power sources remains the same: a 3.5-liter V6 biturbo engine with an output of 422 hp. Of. in combination with a 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission. Prices for the updated LS 500 in Japan start at 10,940,000 yen – about 7.5 million rubles. In Russia, judging by advertising aggregators, the new Lexus LS is no longer on sale.
