An alternative is to register the car through a legal entity – upon payment of a recycling contribution. Vladivostok Customs explained to the Drom.ru portal that car buyers are invited “to confirm their authority and rule out attempts to sell vehicles arriving to legal entities from temporary warehouses to individuals, as well as fraudulent facts about the use of personal data of individuals for customs clearance of vehicles without their knowledge.”
