Skoda has unveiled the design of the new generation Superb

Skoda has revealed the appearance of the fourth generation Superb in design sketches. The premiere of the new product, which will significantly increase its size, will take place very soon – on November 2.

Skoda’s press service reports that the fourth-generation Superb model will receive a design in the new Modern Solid corporate identity with classic elements – just like the new Kodiaq crossover, which replaced the generation a few weeks ago. The new product will have improved matrix headlamps and diode lamps with C-shaped elements.

The liftback will stretch 43 mm (overall length is 4912 mm), the station wagon – 40 mm (4902 mm). The height will also increase – by 12 and 5 mm, respectively, and the width, on the contrary, will decrease by 15 mm. The wheelbase remains the same: 2841 mm. The trunk volume will increase by 20 liters to 645 liters for the liftback, and by 30 liters for the station wagon to 690 liters.

The interior is adorned with a ‘floating’ 12.9-inch screen and display buttons, and the gear lever also moves to the steering column, just like on the new Kodiaq. The engine range includes petrol, hybrid and diesel engines. The drive is front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, but the gearbox will in any case be a DSG ‘robot’ with six or seven steps.
