According to the press service of the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI), the size of the average car loan in September 2023 was 1,120,000 rubles instead of one and a half million. The largest loans are in Moscow (RUB 2,010,000), the Moscow region (RUB 1,790,000), Saint Petersburg (RUB 1,780,000), as well as in the Leningrad region (RUB 1,660,000) and the autonomous Okrug Khanty -Mansi (₽1,610,000).
A decrease in the average car loan bill was shown by Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (−5.1%), Voronezh (−4.4%), Vologda (−3.6%), Tyumen (−3.6%) and Samara (−2.6)%) region. In other regions, the size of the loan for the purchase of a car increased – for example, in the Rostov (+10.5%) and Volgograd (+3.0%), Udmurt regions (+2.7%) and Chuvash (+2.6%) ) republics, as well as in the Novosibirsk region (+2.5%). In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the amount of the average car loan fell by 0.2% and 1.1% respectively in September.
