AVTOVAZ removes inadequately equipped vehicles from the factory. Insiders note that, if conditions are favorable, the company plans to modernize and launch all machines before the New Year.
According to the public page Avtograd News on the social network VKontakte, today, instead of 12,000 Vesta cars requiring additional equipment, AVTOVAZ has about 4,000 left, as well as less than 3,000 incomplete Grantas. By the end of the year, the problem of parts shortage should be completely resolved, after which all cars in the warehouses will be sent to car dealers.
AVTOVAZ suffers from shortages all year round. In January the factory experienced a shortage of paint, in the summer LADA cars were left without the ERA-GLONASS button and the plastic border of the multimedia system, after which Granta lost its airbags until August. Then they were returned, but it turned out only until November – now AVTOVAZ again has no airbags.
