According to the National Bureau of Credit History (NBKI), the number of car loans granted for new and used cars reached 79.4 thousand in October 2023. Experts explain the increase of 41.6% compared to October last year by the low base: in 2022, Russians asked for borrowed money much less often. If we draw a parallel with September 2023, the number of loan transactions will decrease by 4.2% to 82.9 thousand.
The largest increase in loan issuance was recorded in the Tula region: 14.4%. Residents of Belgorod (5.4%), Saratov (3.7%), Tyumen regions (2.1%) and Udmurtia (1.8%) began to take out loans more often. And in other regions a decrease in the number of transactions was recorded – in the Omsk region (14.1%), the Krasnoyarsk region (11.3%), the Sverdlovsk region (8.3%), Chuvashia (8.1% ) and the Rostov region (7.4%). ).
