During the ten months of this year, Muscovites bought 319,000 used passenger cars – this is 28% more than in the same period in 2022. From January to March, BMW was in the lead on the secondary market, but in April LADA took the podium.

According to the agency Avtostat, LADA is now the most popular brand on the capital’s secondary market – since the beginning of the year, Tolyatti cars have sold 29,600 units. BMW is in second place with 26,000 cars. Used Mercedes-Benzes are also a success among Muscovites: in ten months the sales volume reached 21,300 copies. 20,900 people chose a used Kia, 19,000 chose Volkswagen.

But the model rating is led by the Ford Focus – since the beginning of the year, 6,900 cars have been sold on the secondary market of the capital. The Skoda Octavia is slightly behind – 6,500 cars, and there was also a struggle for the throne between them: in January Octavia dominated, in February – Focus, in March – Octavia again, and in April sales were completely equal. Since May, Ford has been firmly in first place and Skoda is now consistently in second place.

The top five most popular used cars in Moscow, based on 10-month results, also included Kia Rio (5,300 units), Toyota Camry and Hyundai Solaris (5,200 units each).
