In Moscow, about 4,000,000 cars pass under cameras every day, and monitoring all these cars requires quite a lot of resources. If you do this selectively – only ‘driving’ offenders through the databases – you can get by with much less electricity.
Moreover, the AIS OSAGO database has been transferred to the Central Bank’s subsidiary, “National Insurance Information System” (NSIS), and data exchange between the Ministry of the Interior and the Central Bank is now possible through the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction.
