According to data from the processing of more than 500,000 reviews and mentions of products of the Chinese automotive industry in the Russian Internet sector, our compatriots do not really honor the “carts” from China that have literally flooded the market in recent months. The AutoVzglyad portal got acquainted with the results of interesting research.

To collect information, experts from the reputation management agency Sidorin LAB used specialized monitoring algorithms, selecting and filtering all entries that matched certain searches. At the same time, reviews about Chinese cars were shared not only by happy and not so happy car owners, but also by users who had just gotten acquainted with products from the PRC, but abandoned them for some reasons. In addition to everything, the research took into account the opinions of those who relied on the experiences of other consumers, as well as information from open sources.

It is noteworthy that many users note problems in the maintenance of Chinese cars, including the lack of components and the rather high cost of repairs and spare parts. Even despite the fact that almost all Chinese manufacturers shout about the availability of an extensive range of components and the qualified experience of dealer technicians. In addition, unfortunately, it will not be possible to service the car on the side, because the “cunningly bent” Asians do not give access to the catalog of original parts to unofficial technical centers. That is why they artificially inflate the prices for maintenance and repair work. After all, there is actually no alternative.

Let’s say more: the “officials” also cannot service all cars from the PRC due to the specifics associated with the mediocre assembly of these cars. The portal “AvtoVzglyad” has already said that the ordered parts simply do not fit the same model, and sometimes problems with electronics cannot be solved even by local Kulibins. Anyway, okay. A few years – and everything will get better, but for now, as they say, we have what we have.

Thus, vaunted products of Haval and Great Wall are indecently criticized for higher fuel consumption and poor protection of body panels against corrosion, Exeed for low quality of brakes, FAW for plastic parts and poor anti-corrosion treatment, and Omoda and Chery for lack to ergonomics of the driver’s seat.

Excessive appetite is also observed in Geely, Tank, Dongfeng and Changan models. JAC products repel consumers with their dubious design and insufficient comfort, while the Lifan “trough” is repelled by ubiquitous rust and mediocre operation. We dare to assume that if you find cars from this bankrupt brand at car dealers, they are 3-4 years old and probably already quite rusty.

And according to a survey by the Otkritie Auto source, 60% of respondents complain about thin metal, poor sound insulation and fragile suspension of models made in China. At the same time, compared to last year, the number of calls from owners of “heavenly” cars to car services increased by more than a third. However, the inventories of components of Chinese brands have not increased much during this period. What can we say if some brands do not have car parts warehouses at all.
