As TASS reports, the head of the Chery Nev brand, Dmitry Maximov, announced a number of new products at the press conference “The Big Journey “Car of the Year” Baikal – Moscow.” The Chinese, as already mentioned, will present seven models – “the most popular, most popular segments.” The cars, which Maksimov says will be able to cover up to 65% of market demand, will go on sale in 2024.
Meanwhile, the head of Chery’s Russian representative office in Russia, Vladimir Shmakov, also announced several launches. To be precise, he said that next year the brand plans to introduce cars with internal combustion engines – crossovers and sedans – to the domestic market.
– Now Chery will probably have three or four of the new models with internal combustion engines. But everything depends on the state and development of the market – we look very carefully at the needs of the market, at the requirements of our customers. Chery is very responsive to what customers need,” he said.
However, Shmakov did not mention specific dates and explained that this is “more tactical planning.”
