The Modern Transport Technologies group of companies announced the start of sales of the new Valdai 45 truck. It is designed to operate as part of a road train with a gross weight of up to 45 tonnes, and the tractor geometry is made to ISO 1726 for compatibility with popular semi-trailers and optimal load distribution.
The car is equipped with a 470 hp diesel engine and a 12-speed robot gearbox. With a fuel tank capacity of 840 litres, it can cover up to 3,000 kilometers on a single fill-up.
The cabin is installed with air suspension, has an internal height of 190 cm and a floor level difference of only 3 cm, has two sleeping places and a storage system with boxes, a refrigerator and niches. The driver’s seat is 10-way adjustable and heated.
“Valdai 45” features an autonomous heater, thermal insulation of the cabin, heating of the fuel inlet and fuel pipe, as well as all-season tires. The cost of the truck has not been disclosed.
