The managers of the Izhevsk site of AVTOVAZ are sounding the alarm – on December 15, production of electric LADA Largus was launched, but there are not enough
As the portal Udm-info reports with reference to the head of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, production of a pilot batch of 30 electric cars has begun at the Izhevsk site, and their serial production will begin in May. Moreover, not only electric, but also petrol Largus will be assembled. However, there is a problem.
— The company needs specialists. At a crucial moment for him, last autumn, about 800 people worked here, now there are already more than 1,500, and this number will have to be doubled. The task is not easy: all our companies urgently need personnel, so we are now developing a program to attract specialists from other regions of the country,” said the head of the region.
In the absence of personnel, in order to quickly reach full capacity, the factory will try to increase the level of automation – 35-40 robots will help specialists.
In 2022, the Izhevsk plant was shut down for several months – for the first time since the 1990s. As a result, the loss of the Lada Izhevsk enterprise amounted to 3.6 billion rubles.
