The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant boasted the results of the renovation of production shops, which began last year. All changes are primarily aimed at improving the work of employees.
According to the Quto portal, UAZ renovated seven showers for employees and the foyer of one of the factory buildings last year. A new space for technologists was created in the assembly production and 240 m² of floor coverings, 300 m² of glazing and 5,500 m² of roofing were replaced in the buildings. The pedestrian paths have been renovated throughout the area, new markings have been installed and additional lighting has been installed. The wooden structures of the pilot building of the chief designer’s office were treated with a fire-retardant coating.
The repairs covered the factory’s roads, wells and drainage systems, and during the campaign special attention was paid to the finishing of the walls of production buildings. Finally, another point was the design of smoking pavilions for employees.
As for the buyers of the factory’s products, the New Year brought them a price increase – the Patriot SUV added 50,000 rubles and now costs at least 1,580,000 rubles, and with a Euro-5 engine instead of the “anti- penalty” Euro- 2 – another 20,000 more expensive.
