3 new “state employees” from Korea on the Russian market
Parallel imports offered the Russians the opportunity to get acquainted with cars that were previously unknown to us. Korean brands were no exception, the products of which please not only their means, but also very affordable prices. The AvtoVzglyad portal has selected the cheapest from a range of Asian new products.

The once incredibly popular Kia Rio and Hyundai Solaris in Russia can no longer be found in car showrooms during the day – sales of cheap “Koreans” are expected to be shortened along with the cessation of their local production. And the cars now produced in St. Petersburg, even if they reach dealer showrooms, obviously won’t be there anytime soon.

Meanwhile, parallel imports have offered consumers an equally, if not more, interesting alternative. In fact, we will talk about these options.

KIA PEGAS

The South Korean sedan is produced in China at the factories of a joint venture between Kia and Dongfeng there. The car is equipped with a 1.4-liter petrol engine mated to an automatic transmission that distributes power to the front wheels. The arsenal of the model includes air conditioning, an electric sunroof, an electronic assistant when driving on a slope, an emergency braking assistant, tire pressure sensors, central locking and, as they say, fully powerful accessories.

Price: from 1,800,000 rubles

HYUNDAI BAYON

The compact crossover, aimed at the European market, has an excellent design and is equipped with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine combined with an automatic transmission that transfers traction to the front axle. Among the “goodies” it should be noted the presence of climate control, functions of keyless entry into the cabin and starting the engine with a key, a rear-view camera, a heated steering wheel, as well as parking, lighting and rain sensors. Why is this not a replacement for the Hyundai Creta?

Price: from 2,200,000 rubles

KIA K3

The heir of the retired global model “Rio”, intended for Mexico and South America, is ready to offer customers fashionable “styling” and a sophisticated interior. Useful options include a selection of different driving modes depending on changes in road and weather conditions, as well as an air conditioning system, a sunroof, a tire pressure and temperature monitoring system, keyless entry and push-button engine start. The front-wheel drive car is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine, accompanied by a continuously variable variator. There is a choice of two body types: hatchback and sedan.

Price: from 2,400,000 rubles
