According to the results of a survey by the Drom portal, new Chinese cars have increased in price by 11% by the end of 2023. At the same time, cars of the Geely brand increased in value by an average of 16%, Chery products – 15%, Changan – 8%, and sub-brands Exeed and Omoda – 2%. It is curious that at the same time the average price of cars of the Haval brand, although slightly, still fell – by 2%.
If we talk about models, Chery’s crossover Tiggo 7 has increased most noticeably in price: by 160% to 2,600,000 rubles. Haval H6 increased in value by 111% and the average price reached 2,900,000 rubles. In addition, prices rose for Geely Atlas (+20%, up to 2,900,000 rubles), Changan CS35 Plus (+19%, up to 2,400,000 rubles), as well as Exeed TXL (+4%, up to 4,400,000 rubles).
By the way, on the secondary market, Chinese cars rose in price much faster last year: the average cost of a used car from China doubled – to 1,800,000 rubles.
