The shortage of electronics and components, which all carmakers without exception have faced, is forcing them to shut down their machine building sites one by one. So the “freeze” of production was announced by the Japanese Subaru.

According to Kyodo, three Subaru factories will be shut down at once due to a shortage of components. We are talking about companies in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. According to preliminary data, the conveyor belt stop will not last long. Production will only delay a few days. But time will tell how it will work out in practice.

Recall that in Europe, for the same reason, BMW, MINI, Volkswagen and Skoda closed their factories, in the US – Ford and GM, and in Japan – Toyota and Lexus.
