Togliatti assures that the information that has appeared about the “extension of the shutdown of the entire car assembly complex next week” is not correct. That is, the factory will continue to produce the simplified LADA Granta Classic.
– Yesterday AvtoVAZ resumed production on the LADA Granta line, the work of all related divisions resumed. The daily production volume is growing, we have the necessary components to work through the coming weeks, – Sergey Ilyinsky, communications director of AVTOVAZ, told the AvtoVzglyad portal.
Also, Mr. Ilyinsky clarified the future plans of the auto giant. In July, the factory will resume production on the NIVA line. In addition, the personnel that previously existed as separate divisions are now united and can therefore be recruited to work on any of the three lines.
