Therefore, when the head of KamAZ, Sergei Kogogin, showed his namesake, the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, sketches of future new products, no one was surprised that the models in the drawings were confusingly similar to JAC’s serial products.

That’s just a pretty harmonious picture of the future Russian-Chinese friendship that was suddenly destroyed … by KamAZ itself. His press service sent journalists, to say the least, an unexpected letter, the content of which can be “translated” approximately as follows: yes, Mr. Kogogin showed Mr. Sobyanin some photos, but these are just photos, and the future Moskvich will be completely different.
