The Russian authorities, despite the very difficult economic situation caused by very understandable events, still see in the motorized citizens of the country only dairy cows, which they frankly rob and rob. Often – literally from scratch. True, as the AvtoVzglyad portal found out, the situation may soon change for the better.
And rightly so, because car owners are one of the most active population groups. After all, if a person was able to buy and maintain “wheels” for himself, then at least he knows how to make money, that is, actively participate in the economic life of the country. Why not create certain preferences for him, and not just take it out of his pocket?
But unfortunately, there are more and more different state extortions. And complexes of solving violations are particularly diligent in this, the grouping of which is growing at an unprecedented rate.
Cameras are often placed two hundred or three hundred meters apart. And on the tracks they are generally located on a strange principle: a good high-speed highway and suddenly – bam! – leapfrog speed limits 90-40-60-90 and so on. Well, it is clear that in most cases it is not about improving road safety, but only about replenishing local budgets.
However, we reiterate here that radical changes may await us in the very near future. First, up to 70% of these devices can be removed from the road. Second, the resuscitation of “average speed” fines is unlikely to happen in the country. And finally, drivers are most likely not going to be punished with thousands of fines for loud exhaust fumes and rattling music in the car.
How and why all this will happen, you will learn from the next issue of the podcast of the AvtoVzglyad portal, this time hosted by Yaroslav Nilov, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs (you can listen to it here).
