Chinese cars are quickly gaining fans in Russia. Moreover, among them are not only practical older people, but also impulsive young people. And what kind of “heavenly” models are now most in demand among young buyers of brand new cars, says the AvtoVzglyad portal.

Geely has the largest share of young people of all Chinese brands officially represented in Russia: 56% of the brand’s sales come from customers aged 18 to 35. Next up are Haval and Changan – they have exactly half. Based on the results of the survey, Chery has an older audience: the proportion of young customers is 37%. FAW has 31% while the “premium” Exeed has only 14%.

If you simultaneously look at which models of each brand are most in demand among young people, Geely has the expected compact Coolray crossover. Of the Haval cars, young buyers are not most attracted to Jolion, but to a few F7 and F7X. Changan has UNI-K of course, FAW has Bestune T77. Chery has Tiggo 7 Pro, and the Exeed sub-brand, oddly enough, has the flagship VX, the cost of which starts at 4.2 million rubles.

It remains only to add that the research was conducted by analysts from Avilon AG, a dealer network represented in Moscow and the Moscow region. It is based solely on the company’s own data, not combined with statistics from other car dealers. So across the country, and even in the capital, the situation with the preferences of young buyers may look completely different.
