Starooskolsky plant for electrical equipment for cars and tractors. AM Mamonova (JSC SOATE), parts supplier for AVTOVAZ, increased production of parts for LADA manual transmissions by 120%. And not only larger volumes, but also completely replace imported components. So now the residents of Togliatti have one less problem.

More specifically, SOATE has increased production of switchgear parts from 120,000 to 280,000 sets per year, according to the Industry Development Fund (IDF). And if previous LADA mechanical transmissions used about 50% of imported parts (mainly from Europe), now rotating models of the Togliatti concern such as Granta, Vesta and Niva will start exclusively with domestic products.

In particular, the FRP noted that the mechanisms are composed entirely of Russian raw materials. At the same time, the parts produced meet international quality standards. In addition, our components are 15% cheaper than foreign analogues and will soon be better presented on the market due to the simplification of logistics.

For example, the Industrial Development Fund has drawn an intermediate line in the clearly lengthy process of import substitution of components in the automotive industry. Obviously there is still a lot of work to do, but this is already a kind of achievement.

It should only be added that the total investment in the project for a multiple increase in the production of gearbox parts at SOATE amounted to 390 million rubles. In addition, 300 million of them received benefits from the IDF.
