Car dealers wanted to include Renault shares in concessional loans

The still unsold stocks of French Renault cars in Russia want to be “pushed” into the state program of preferential car loans. The AvtoVzglyad portal tells how dealers are trying to make the state pay for their own miscalculations.

Renault cars standing still in the warehouses of Russian car dealerships can fall under the state’s preferential car loan program. At least, representatives of domestic associations of car dealerships turned to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia with such a request.

– In warehouses, cars purchased in May at an extremely expensive rate have a high cost. Here’s the problem – such a measure would greatly help to implement them – an anonymous source from RIA Novosti explained the essence of the problem with Renault cars.

Recall that in May of this year, Renault announced a complete withdrawal from the Russian market. At the same time, the French actually left all their assets in our country, including the plant in Moscow (now Moskvich) and a stake in AvtoVAZ shares. The existing stock of cars at that time was apparently sold to Russian Renault dealers for considerable amounts.

With what now they can now be “congratulated”. And I wish you luck in your further efforts to transfer the burden of paying your own financial costs from a failed deal with the wily French to the state budget.
